When we were planning for our first birth, it was obviously intimidating having not gone through that before as a couple. Of course, my wife was doing the heavy lifting, but as the husband (and father) I wanted to be there as a support. What I discovered pretty quickly was the incredible assistance a doula offers, not only to the expectant mother, but to the father as well. Dara was AMAZING. After hours of labor, we decided to call her in ,and when she showed up, so much relief came over both my wife and me. Since that day we have had 2 more children and Dara was at each of those births as well. Dads…hire Dara! You will be SO happy you did!!
