(Dara) I am married to my dearest friend of 30 years and am living a "dream come true" as the blessed mother of 7 amazing children and grandmother to 3 Cuties!

When my husband and I started our family in the late 80’s, we read a lot and prayed a lot!  The more I read, the more I fell in love with pregnancy and motherhood.  Inspired by the wonder of natural childbirth, we hired our first midwife in 1989 and were blessed to give birth to all 7 of our babies in the peace and safety of our home. I was marked. For life. By the miracle of BIRTH.

As the years went by, more and more friends requested my help when it came their time to give birth. Not realizing that what I offered had a special title, I simply committed myself to bringing comfort and peace to my friends when they delivered their babies!  My heart came alive as I offered these women what my heart and body desperately needed when I gave birth.  I was deeply honored to know these young mothers desired for me to support them during their labors! I was eager to learn how to help them more effectively. Later, when I learned the word "doula" and its definition as "servant," I knew that I had found a life’s calling.

Through the years, I’ve taken my passion for serving women in labor, and I've added 25 years of experience, skills, and professional training to better serve my clients. I have experience as a childbirth assistant, birth doula, childbirth educator, and postpartum doula.

Together with my daughter Joy, we support mothers during pregnancy continuing all the way through the "fourth trimester" called postpartum. Our goal is to serve mothers in a spirit of excellence by creating an atmosphere of comfort, peace, and confidence! It would be a joy and an honor to serve you!

(Joy) I am a CAPPA Certified Postpartum Doula, who thoroughly enjoys my job!

I’ve been a part time nanny for the past 3 years.  Caring for children and especially babies has always been one of my favorite things to do!

When I was 16 years old my mother (Dara) asked me to accompany her to a home birth as a photographer. Until that time I had never considered birth as a career choice that would interest me. I was wary to me, but as I witnessed that young mother preserved through labor and give birth admits tear of joy, I was swept up in an uncontainable surge of emotions. I knew I was hooked for life!

After that encounter I decided to explore my options for a career and found the heart of the postpartum doula perfectly matched what I wanted to offer to families. Since then I have actively pursued education, experience, and new ways to serve and support new mothers.

My heart is to come alongside your family and give you the gift of recovery and confidence to face the challenges of parenthood. I've been a postpartum doula since 2016, and I absolutely adore caring for my clients!
